"The Fat Boy Chronicles" is about a student that went to William Mason High school just like us. This student was a large body type and got bullied by the students about his weight. The boy is a freshman in high school and is new to the school. He has only a few friends. He cannot walk down the hallways or into a classroom without getting made fun of because of his weight problem. He strongly dislikes gym class because he is with all the football players and all of them gang up on him and make him feel horrible.I would be extremely embarrassed and want to exile myself from the rest of the school.
In the beginning of the book the boy goes to Gatlinburg, Tennessee with his church's youth group. His friends want to go down the water slide-he is embarrassed and doesn't want to take off his shirt, so he lets his friends go and he stays by himself. If I were the boy in the story I don't know what I would do because everywhere you go there is someone waiting to bully you. This would motivate me to get into shape and then the people that make fun of you will stop because you can take charge and not have to just take the words.
1. My voice was showcased when I said "This would motivate me to get into shape and then the people that make
fun of you will stop because you can take charge and not have to just
take the words". This shows that I would not disrespect the kid because he is having a hard time. It also shows that if you have a problem you need to fix it.
2. I have included abstract/concrete diction to this post. I used this when I said "I would be extremely embarrassed and want to exile myself from the rest of the school". This enhances my voice because it show how I would feel if I were faced with this situation , and it shares my view with my readers. I used punctuation as a form of syntax in my post. This was included when I said " His friends want to go down the water slide-he is embarrassed and doesn't want to take off his shirt". This connects and also helps me transition into an explanation.

The book itself sound interesting and might be an ok non-fiction but I don't read alot of non-fiction
