"The Fat Boy Chronicles" is about a student that went to William Mason High school just like us. This student was a large body type and got bullied by the students about his weight. The boy is a freshman in high school and is new to the school. He has only a few friends. He cannot walk down the hallways or into a classroom without getting made fun of because of his weight problem. He strongly dislikes gym class because he is with all the football players and all of them gang up on him and make him feel horrible.I would be extremely embarrassed and want to exile myself from the rest of the school.
In the beginning of the book the boy goes to Gatlinburg, Tennessee with his church's youth group. His friends want to go down the water slide-he is embarrassed and doesn't want to take off his shirt, so he lets his friends go and he stays by himself. If I were the boy in the story I don't know what I would do because everywhere you go there is someone waiting to bully you. This would motivate me to get into shape and then the people that make fun of you will stop because you can take charge and not have to just take the words.
1. My voice was showcased when I said "This would motivate me to get into shape and then the people that make
fun of you will stop because you can take charge and not have to just
take the words". This shows that I would not disrespect the kid because he is having a hard time. It also shows that if you have a problem you need to fix it.
2. I have included abstract/concrete diction to this post. I used this when I said "I would be extremely embarrassed and want to exile myself from the rest of the school". This enhances my voice because it show how I would feel if I were faced with this situation , and it shares my view with my readers. I used punctuation as a form of syntax in my post. This was included when I said " His friends want to go down the water slide-he is embarrassed and doesn't want to take off his shirt". This connects and also helps me transition into an explanation.

Final reflection
Click Here to see my best post
I believe that my analysis post was my best. In this post I believe that the Dilliontown team will win the baseball game against the all-stars. In the text it says that the Dilliontown team has to play the all-stars and the winner decides what to do with the stadium. I believe that the Dilliontown team will keep the stadium because they like the old stadium. I think that if the all-stars win they will tear down the old stadium and create a big and overwhelming and nice stadium. The Dilliontown team though is having tryouts because the team that they had last year was bad. Also the team is having tryouts because they do not have any good people and only 11 people show up to the tryouts so they people at they tryouts have to make the team because it is 12 people to a team and they do not even have 12 so they all get to be on the team.
Next trimester my reading goal is to read at least twenty minutes a night and finish at least two books. I would like to find a book or series that i enjoy thoroughly so that I have fun reading and also am reading. I want to write a little each week and see what kind of writer I become over time. I enjoy writing so if I think of something to write about and think deeply I could write a very good passage. Next trimester I need to improve the different genres of books that I read. I would like to make my vocabulary bigger so that it enhances my writing and to do that I will have to read more often.

Post 2
In this section of my book I think that Doc realizes that just because something is new does not make it better. He realizes that just because something is dated does not mean it is useless. There are a lot of memories in the old stadium and that is why he chooses to keep it.
Characters Post
Doc in The Boy Who Saved Baseball changes throughout the text because he wants the Baseball field to be a new and improved stadium for the team that everyone "he thinks" will want. He changes because throughout the text he wants to keep the stadium that they have now. He realizes that there are to many memories on that field.

Book Recommendations
I reccomend this book if you enjoy sports reading novels. Also if you enjoy baseball. This book is about a team that is not that good that has tryouts and they play a team that is very good to see who wins the field. I enjoy this book very much because baseball is my life.
Theme and Summary Redo
The theme of the story is that new things are not always so good. This is because the Dilliontown team does not want a new stadium but the All star team up the road want them to get a bew stadium so that they can use it. This theme applies throughout the story because the city counsil members want to get new buildings and a whole new enviorment. The Dilliontown team has to play the all stars but the team they are playing is very good. If the Dilliontown team wins they get to choose how the park is and what they do with it. But if the All stars win they choose what to do with the field.

Post 2 9/26/13
I don't think that many people realize how much of a difference baseball has made in my life. My coaches and teammates have had a big impact on me. My teammates become friends. Baseball players are in a different kind of shape than football, basketball, track, cross country, wrestlers. Baseball is more of a mental game. Baseball is what makes me strive for everything. Baseball has made me the man I am today.
